The Last One Standing

I am not really sure how the rest of the family is doing. However, I am still trying to go strong. And I have decided that if no one else is going to post, I am going to keep on posting and try and keep myself motivated. Because I REALLY need this. I watch "The Biggest Loser" and that is incredibly motivating. My starting weight was 171.6 and I now weigh in at 146.6. Exactly 25 pounds! But I have been static for about a week or so. I am tring to push through, so I decided to start weight watchers. I lost a pound the first weekend, but then a weekend away from home threw me off. No bueno! So, now, I want to try even harder!!!

Here is my goal: It is somehwat small, but will really mean alot to me and make me feel accomplished. Originally I wanted to be 130 before the New Year. To lose weight in a healthy way between now and then, I can get really close. Which is very exciting, but I thought I could set a bit of a smaller goal and see what happens:

SO, my small goal is to be at a lower weight than any of the contestants on Biggest Loser for their final weigh in date. That date is Dec 16th. I thought it would be an exciting goal because they lose way more weight in a one week period then what is healthy for us at home and because there is no telling what they will all weigh in as, especially the ones at home.

So, I will keep you posted (Not that any one reads this, but, just in case a few family memebers are still checking in :)

More Motivated......


I am feeling really good. Changing your appearance can do alot toward attitude for losing weight. The better you feel about how you look, the more you want to look even better. In saying that, I am rounding on 160 lbs and REALLY believe I might hit my goal weight of 140 by Autumn's wedding if I fight hard until then. The competition is on, you may think I don't have a chance, but you may eat your words!!!!!!

Going Strong...

Yes, that's right, I am going to make you ALL eat your words!!!!! I have already lost 6 pounds since I saw you all last, a week and a half ago!!!!! Tonight we have some friends coming over to work out, it should be fun. Do you people check this page anymore??????

Still Trying......

I can't believe it has been a month since we have posted. Well, I will be honest...there hasn't been much change. I just can't get in a workout groove and I know that is what is killing me. I need some support family, some encouragement, how are ya'll doing, who is going to be the Biggest loser? What is this prize going to be? We only have two months left, let's get kicking and make some decisions.

I was wondering that myself!

You are doing good Ashley! Where is Michelle, Amanda and Ken? Check in guys!

After two weeks of working out, I got re-weighted and measured today. I had lost a total of 9 lbs and 6 inches. That is a total of 12 lbs in 3 weeks! I'm on my way to being the Biggest Loser! Do you all think you can beat me? Better get busy!!

Where is Everybody!?!

Well.....my update is that I have officially lost 5 pounds! However, my company bought breakfast and lunch today, and tomorrow they are buying all three meals!!!! And it is NOT healthy stuff down the menu. I am doing my best, though. Jared and I even went away for the three day weekend, I didn't lose, but I didn't gain. And that says a whole lot!

How is every one else doing? Oh, also, we bought a book called Calorie King. It has all the major fast food places and restaurants, and food choices, ect. We also bought a book called Eat This, Not That. It is REALLY cool. It will tell you the better menu items at fast food places and restaurants, but not just that. It goes all the way to what fish you should buy, snack foods, which cereals are better than others and why, etc. etc. It even talks about beer, fruit juices, coffee, a crazy amount of useful information.
